Experience Days

We offer horse logging experience days in our woodland just outside Corfe Castle on the Isle of Purbeck, Dorset.

Come and spend the day pulling timber around the woods, experience the controlled power of our beautiful working horses. We will show you the different types of horse drawn equipment and harness we use and discuss the safe working practice of using a horse in the woods.

These days can be tailored to your own requirements and make a great gift for the working horse enthusiast.

Tea and coffee is provided around the fire. But please bring a packed lunch and sturdy footwear.

We run these experience days all year round.

Time: 10am till 15:00 pm, Cost per person is £125.00

Shows

Every year we take our horses to shows and fairs to give demonstrations in Horse logging. Please get in touch if you would like us to attend your show.

Talks

I have given several talks to local groups about 'sustainable woodland management'. I don’t charge for the talks but a donation to the British Horse Loggers Charitable trust is welcome. Please get in touch if your group is local to Purbeck and you would like me to give a talk.
